| Цель экспедиции - стыковка с МКС и замена космического корабля Союз ТМ-32,
который в апреле 2001 года доставил на МКС экспедицию посещения и оставался все это время
пристыкованным к МКС. Союз ТМ-33 останется вместо Союз ТМ-32, пристыкованным к МКС в качестве
аварийного корабля, а Афанасьев, Козеев и Андре-Деэ(Эньере) вернулись на Землю на Союзе ТМ-32 31.10.01.
Das Zweck der Expedition ist Andocken zu ISS und der Ersatz des Raumschiffes Sojus TM-32, der auf ISS die Expedition des Besuches in April 2001 geliefert hat und blieb das alles Zeit angedockt zu ISS. Sojus TM-33 bleibt statt des Sojus TM-32 bei der ISS als das Notschiff. Wiktor Afanasjew, Konstantin Kozeew und Claudie Andre-Deshay sind auf die Erde auf dem Sojus TM-32 am 31.10.01 zurückgekehrt. The purpose of expedition is docking to the ISS and replacement the spacecraft Soyuz TM -32, which in April, 2001 has flown and docked to the ISS. The Soyuz TM -33 remain instead of Soyuz TM-32 joint to the ISS as an assured means for the emergency case.
